This is a locum tenens opportunity for a Gastroenterology Hospitalist in New York. The position involves coverage at a 212-bed hospital without trauma designation, with no clinic responsibilities and no advanced procedures.

Location: New York (specific location inquiries welcomed)

Duration: Starting in March, ongoing until a permanent hire is made (minimum 3 months)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with weeknight call from 5 pm - 8 am Wednesday through Sunday, plus 24-hour weekend call on Saturday and Sunday

Patient Volume: Approximately 12-14 patients per day

EMR: Meditech/Epic (go live on 3/24)

Support Group: Full group support available

Requirements: Board certification in Gastroenterology, active New York medical license, PALS, BLS certification
