Job description

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist for a full-time position.

Highly Competitive Salary & Starting Bonus.

Join a collegial practice with a dedicated group of 18 physicians and 11 APPs. Our team offers a broad array of services in gastroenterology, supports trainee education, and participates in research and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• High volume interventional service: more than 6,000 cases in 2025, 10–12 cases per day per provider
• Regional quaternary referral center with broad established referrals throughout Michigan and beyond
• Cases performed in Grand Rapids busy hospitals (Butterworth and Blodgett) and multiple additional endoscopy sites in the surrounding region
• Associated Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Hepatology program
• Collaborative team‑based approach to care
• Teaching and research opportunities
• Work in conjunction with other subspecialists
• Must be proficient in EUS, ERCP, advanced tissue resection and luminal intervention
• Preferred: third‑space endoscopy, POEM, endobariatrics
• Full‑time interventional endoscopy with equitable night General GI call (1 in 18), weekend call (1 in 8)
• Daytime (8 a‑5 p) interventional call 1 in 5 (regular hours, covering inpatients and urgent cases)
• Outpatient work includes weekly office duties
