Job summary

Trinity Health Medical Group, Gastroenterology - Grand Rapids Campus, is seeking a full-time Advanced Endoscopist to join our established team of six physicians and five APPs.

The role offers a high-volume, endoscopy-only ASC and an inpatient endoscopy unit on the same campus, with MAC anesthesia and a balanced call schedule. Applicants should have 4th year advanced endoscopy training, Michigan license, and board certification progression.

Qualifications

• 4th year advanced endoscopy training required.
• Board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 5 years.
• State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
• DEA license.
• BLS Certification and recertification required.

Responsibilities

• Join a skilled team of physicians and APPs in an advanced endoscopy program.
• Provide advanced endoscopy procedures in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with cancer centers and surgical/medical oncology teams.
• Engage in resident teaching and mentorship within the gastroenterology department.

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full time Advanced Endoscopist to join our Trinity Health Grand Rapids Gastroenterology Team.

Practice Features:

• Practice in modern facilities equipped with Olympus 190 scopes, Epic for inpatient and clinic visits, and Provation for all procedure documentation.
• Experience a highly manageable call schedule, with coverage anticipated every 8th week.
• Typical daily endoscopy schedule includes 14 outpatient procedures, while inpatient census often averages fewer than 10 patientswith APP support for inpatient consultsproviding a truly balanced and sustainable workload.
• Serve as a referral center for Trinity Health West Michigan, providing specialized care across the region.
• Collaborate closely with the Lacks Cancer Center and the Cancer Center Network of West Michigan, with strong support from surgical oncology, medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and interventional radiology.
• Engage in educational opportunities through resident teaching and mentorship, contributing to the development of future clinicians.
