Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a faculty member for a full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, specializing in Motility Disorders. The role offers a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Provide clinical care in ambulatory and inpatient settings, including consultative services and performing general GI procedures.
Participate in supervising and educating medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology. The division has established the first Advanced Endoscopy fellowship, with five fellows trained to date.
Assist in clinical research through the Voelker Clinical Research Center, if interested.
Manage outpatient care for children with various intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
Handle inpatient care, consultations, and emergency room cases for children with similar disorders.
Perform general pediatric GI procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic interventions.
MD, PhD, DO, or equivalent degree.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent.
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
Board certification or eligibility in pediatric gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
