**Location** The University of Oklahoma (OU) and OU Health are seeking a Gastroenterologist at the rank of **Assistant or Associate Professor** to join Oklahoma’s only comprehensive academic medical center. The Division of Gastroenterology provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders and serves as a referral center for complex cases across the region. **Key Responsibilities** **Research & Education** Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers, fostering academic excellence and lifelong learning. As the state’s premier academic institution, the faculty member will have a major role in training gastroenterology fellows.**Qualifications** **Education & Training** **Experience** Eligible for appointment at the rank of **Assistant or Associate Professor**, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Experience in general gastroenterology required; additional expertise or focused interest in **IBD or gastrointestinal motility disorders** preferred. Prior academic or high-volume clinical experience is desirable; early-career faculty are encouraged to apply. **Skills & Competencies** Strong clinical and endoscopic skills in general gastroenterology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities.
