Consensus Medical Group LLC is seeking a Gastroenterologist in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders in adult patients, performing standard procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy.
The compensation range for this position is $325,000–$400,000 annually. Candidates should be licensed in New Jersey and board certified in gastroenterology, with strong computer skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
Diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in adult patients. Provide compassionate, evidence‑based care and support the integrated healthcare delivery model. Perform standard diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. No inpatient work or hospital coverage is required at this time. Work hours are Monday through Friday with on‑call evenings and weekends for phone calls only.
Perform additional outpatient advanced procedures—such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) or endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)—at the physician’s discretion; these are not required for the position. Treatment can be provided in the office infusion suite, ultrasound suite, breath testing, and Fibroscan facilities. Outpatient procedures are performed at a nearby ambulatory surgical center and an outpatient hospital endoscopy unit.
The compensation range for this position is $325,000–$400,000. Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role, as well as a percentage of net collections. The provided range represents the first year of employment. Salary may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typical physical demands include walking, bending, sitting, talking, lifting, or hearing. Employees may stand, use hands, and operate general office equipment such as a computer, telephone, file cabinets, copier, fax machine, and printer. Occasional lifting of 10–25 pounds may be required. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may be required to travel to healthcare practices. Work environment noise levels are usually low to moderate.
