Job summary

Cynet Health invites a physician specializing in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology to join our team in New Mexico. The provider will engage in patient care for a broad range of GI conditions, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including ERCP and EUS.

The ideal candidate must hold an active NM license, be board certified in GI, and demonstrate a clean background. Fellowship may be preferred for higher acuity cases, with 7–14 day stretch availability and in-house rounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI patient care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (upper/lower GI, ERCP, EUS).
• Rounding, consultations, and in-house procedures with a focus on patient safety.
• Manage scheduling with 7–14 day stretch availability.
• Contribute to training and learning environment for staff and learners

Description:We are seeking a dedicated physician specializing in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology.The provider will engage in patient care for a broad array of gastrointestinal conditions.The position will support continuity of patient care during planned absences of the regular staff.This opportunity involves performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.The physician will be involved in a variety of endoscopic procedures such as upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS.Availability for scheduling a 7-14 day stretch is required.A commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining patient safety is essential.The physician will be expected to round, consult, and complete necessary procedures in-house.This position is ideal for candidates looking to contribute to a team in a dynamic environment.Candidates with locum-to-perm interests are also encouraged to apply.Patient engagement will be approximately 15 encounters per shift.The facility supports a robust training and learning environment.This position emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement in patient care delivery.
