Description:The daily rate includes 12 hours of clinic/rounding plus night call.Weekend 24-hour call includes 4 hours of gratis if applicable.This position is open due to a gap in coverage.The work setting is inpatient.Responsibilities include rounding, new consults, and procedures.Demographics consist of adult patients.The average patient load is approximately 14 per day.ERCP procedures are required.Applicants must provide documentation of the provision of gastroenterology services representative of the scope and complexity of requested privileges during the last 24 months.Those who completed training within the previous year must provide a training log.The provider will not work solo; however, they will be the only inpatient gastroenterology physician.Access to specialty consultants will be available as needed.The provider will have the ability to connect with outpatient gastroenterology colleagues for workflow questions.A dedicated inpatient gastroenterology physician assistant is available to assist Monday through Friday and is looking to add a second advanced practice clinician for increased coverage and support.Required experience includes prior clinical activity in gastroenterology within the last 24 months.COVID-19 vaccination is required, while flu vaccination status is unknown.
