Job summary

Vituity’s Colton-based Emergency Medicine Psychiatry Fellowship offers a one-year training opportunity for EM or Psychiatry residents graduating from ACGME-accredited programs. You will gain hands-on experience in the ED and acute psychiatric settings, and lead an inter-disciplinary team to improve care delivery.

Qualifications

• One-year Emergency Psychiatry Fellowship for EM or Psychiatry residents
• Training by nationally recognized experts in Emergency Psychiatry
• Hands-on experience in ED and acute psychiatric settings

Responsibilities

• Train as a physician leader of an inter-disciplinary team to shape improvements in emergency psychiatric care
• Learn assessment, management, and disposition of emergency psychiatric patients in both the medical ED and psychiatric settings
• Collaborate with departments across the hospital to improve system-based delivery of emergency psychiatric care
