Job description

Practice Specifics:

• Our ideal candidate would be an easy-going, patient-centered physician leader who enjoys working with an existing, low-maintenance, highly relational team.
• OB for this position is optional.
• Newer clinic with state-of-the-art technology, attached to a hospital.
• Weekend clinic call is 1:8 (1:9 starting September 23). Weeknight call is 1:8 (1:9 starting September 23).
• Multi-specialty group that includes FP, IM, and NP/PA providers, along with integrated Behavioral Health featuring 4 Psychotherapists, 1 Behavioral Health NP, 1 Behavioral Health MD (via Telehealth), and an onsite Behavioral Health Adult Partial Hospitalization Program.
• Over 20 outreach specialists across various specialties including Ophthalmology, ENT, Audiology, OBGYN, General Surgery, Weight Management, Diabetes, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Pain Management, Orthopedic Medicine & Surgery, Podiatry, Cardiology, Tobacco Cessation, Medication Therapy Management, Gastroenterology, Vascular Surgery, and Urology, all on-site and others available at the main campus in Duluth.
• Nurse-on-line triage available 24/7.
• EPIC electronic medical records system used in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Admit to a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) facility with transitional care services. The ER is staffed by physicians and a PA in the Fast Track ER. Transfers of complex cases are made to a 330-bed Medical Center (7 miles away) with Level 1 Trauma designation.
• Urgent Care staffed 7 days a week with NP/PA providers.
• Physician-led, professionally managed organization with a great team environment.

Location:

• 5 miles south of Duluth, MN, and 150 miles north of Minneapolis, MN.
