Job description

Seeking Founding Core Faculty Member for Family Medicine Residency Program

We are looking for a founding core faculty member to help establish our new family medicine residency program, launching in conjunction with a new teaching clinic near Knoxville, TN, aimed at attracting future primary care providers to East Tennessee.

The 8-8-8 program seeks visionary leaders to:

  1. Build faculty practice and develop curriculum and faculty skills
  2. Care for patients
  3. Precept and teach family medicine
  4. Coach and mentor residents
  5. Explore clinical and quality improvement issues

Our diverse clinical settings will allow residents to enhance their skills, with telehealth as a foundational activity. All teaching areas will welcome faculty with varied interests. Our Chief Medical Officer will lead quality improvement research and health systems teaching.
