Family Medicine openings Upstate New York - $309,000 base salary. Hospital employed with a local health system. Located 35 minutes from Watertown, NY — highly rated public school system! 1 hour and 40 minutes to Syracuse, NY. Rural area with 25,000 draws in county and a total draw of 63,000. The group has 5 local primary care offices, providing good availability to patients to build an active patient panel.
Opening due to replacement of a retiring provider who has been there for 35 years. Providers average 70-80 visits per week. Options for 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days depending on locations. J-1 (HHS waiver) and H1-B visa sponsorship available. Easy access to Toronto and Montreal, Canada, for those with ties there. 1 hour from Kingston, Canada. This is a 100% outpatient-only position.
Phone call is required but only 2-3 times per month. There is an option to do some pediatric and/or adult inpatient rounding for additional compensation, but it is not required. A newborn nursery is also available if interested in covering.
Base salary of $309,000 for outpatient only. Start/relocation bonus of $25,000. RVU bonus for productivity over 75% MGMA, paid quarterly, rewarding productivity. This is a well-established practice with generous office volume and significant RVU bonus potential.
Full benefits include 6 weeks of paid time off (sick/CME/vacation per provider request), 7 paid holidays, $3,000 self-directed CME/year, and comprehensive health/dental insurance with the employer paying 100% for the provider and 70% for the family. Enrollment in NY State pension retirement is included.
