Job description

FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN (OB Optional)

Primary Care Physician works as a leader of a Care Team. Physician collaborates with other healthcare team members to achieve patient care objectives and provide continuity of care for patients and families.

Practice Specifics

  1. Join an experienced, progressive, and well-respected primary care group (6 Family Practice Physicians) with full diagnostic and therapeutic support services, including pharmacy, infusion services, and rehabilitative services for adult and pediatric patients.
  2. Call 1-5, with a light call load supported by Hospitalists for adult admissions and inpatient care.
  3. 34 to 36 contact hours per week.
  4. Outpatient practice setting.
  5. Access to a full range of visiting specialties, including surgical and medical orthopedics, oncology, pediatric physiatry, pediatric ophthalmology, nephrology, neurology, weight management, and occupational medicine.
  6. Located in a hometown environment supported by a large health system.
  7. Utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and PACS Radiology systems.
Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • OB optional.

Hibbing is known for its scenic lakes, forests, and rich history. It is a hub for mining operations and offers recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, and outdoor pursuits. Proximity to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and extensive trails makes it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
