Physician / Family Practice / Massachusetts / Locum or Permanent / Primary Care of Boston Job

Location: 14 practices all in the Boston area, including 2 urban locations. Exact locations to be determined. All locations are within 10-15 minutes of each other.

Duration: Starting as soon as possible, with a credentialing period of 90 days. Ongoing need. Minimum commitment of 4 months, with a schedule of 2 days per week. Open to spot coverage and full-time arrangements.

Reason for coverage: To help fill workflow gaps, including maternity leave, leaves of absence, and spot coverage.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible options from 2 to 5 days per week.

Shift: 8 am to 5 pm.

Call: Not applicable.

Patient volume: Up to 16 patients per day, with 2 sessions per day, averaging 8 patients per session.

Scope: Adult patients only, aged 15-18 and above. Open to Family Practice or Internal Medicine providers.

EMR: Epic.

Hospital: Multiple locations.

Support: Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other primary care providers are available to assist and manage communications.

Requirements: Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, valid license to practice in Massachusetts.
