A Federally Qualified Health Center in Chicago is seeking full-time and part-time family practice physicians. The role involves providing primary health care services, focusing on prevention and treatment of diseases, and requires strong communication and organizational skills.
A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking full-time and/or two part-time family practice physicians to work in a Community Health Center setting, providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients. Responsibilities include prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, acting as primary care providers within the scope of family practice, and providing in-patient hospital coverage.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of preventive medicine principles and practices, understanding of state and federal laws related to medicine and community health centers, and familiarity with the structure and function of community health centers. They should be skilled in effective communication with patients and their families, and in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and the public.
Requirements include being an Illinois-licensed health professional (MD or D.O), with experience working in a clinical setting with a diverse population. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required, along with board certification.
