Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Family Practice physician to deliver comprehensive primary care and occupational health services in an outpatient setting. The role serves patients ages 2 and older and emphasizes managing acute and chronic conditions while supporting workplace health needs in Mount Sterling, Illinois.

You will perform exams, preventive care, and screenings; develop and manage treatment plans; conduct return-to-work assessments; educate patients on health and lifestyle

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine/Family Practice.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience providing care across a broad patient population, including pediatric and adult patients.
• Experience in primary care and occupational health preferred.
• DOT Medical Examiner certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to practice effectively in an outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients ages 2 and older.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform routine physical examinations, preventive care, screenings, and health assessments.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Provide occupational health services, including evaluation and treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Perform return-to-work and fitness-for-duty evaluations as appropriate.
• Provide patient education regarding preventive health, medications, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Perform other duties within the physician’s scope of practice as assigned.

Position Overview

This role serves patients ages 2 and older and is ideal for a physician who is comfortable managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions while supporting workplace health needs.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
