The University of Kansas Health System seeks a full-time Family Medicine physician with fellowship training in Sports Medicine. The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician with fellowship training in Sports Medicine to join our faculty. This position supports the department’s mission to provide the highest quality care while fulfilling academic responsibilities in teaching, research, and clinical service at the region’s premier quaternary referral center.
The successful candidate will provide full-spectrum family medicine with a strong emphasis on sports medicine, working within an integrated care team. The University of Kansas Health System proudly serves as the official healthcare provider for the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Current, offering unique opportunities in sports medicine care. In addition to clinical duties, the position includes active participation in the education and supervision of residents. Required Qualifications:
MD, DO or equivalent
Board certified/board eligible in family medicine
Completion of sports medicine fellowship
Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an academic environment
Strong teaching and leadership skills
