Job description

Ascension Medical Group - Glennan Primary Care in Oxford, Michigan is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join a busy and well-established practice.

Highlights:

There are four providers, two Physicians and two Physician Assistants, in the practice.

Support staff have been with the practice for 20+ years.

There is built-in patient volume consisting of Pediatrics through and including Geriatrics.

Newly remodeled office consisting of 10 large examination rooms.

Types of patient encounters include outpatient and virtual visits.

There is an option for the new provider to do their own inpatient rounding if they choose to at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Michigan.

There is Hospitalist coverage available if the new provider chooses not to do their own inpatient rounding.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; no weekend office hours.

Each provider takes call during the week on their own patients.

Weekend call schedule is shared amongst the four providers on a rotational basis and with the addition of a new provider the weekend call schedule would be every 5th weekend.

EMR is Athena.

Ancillaries include blood draws with the capability to run some blood tests in the office.

Imaging, urgent care, pharmacy, a dermatology practice and a cardiology practice in the same building.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
• BE/BC in specialty.
