Job summary

Elios Healthcare in Bloomington, IN area seeks a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to provide continuity and acute outpatient care across the lifespan with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and help shape clinical practice.

The role includes mentoring APPs, developing guidelines, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, with opportunities to document in eCW and participate in organizational committees.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, including children.
• Focus on preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Precept and mentor APPs and clinicians in training.
• Partner with the Chief Medical Officer on practice guidelines and clinical standards.
• Serve on organizational committees and contribute to process and quality improvement.
• Document care in eClinicalWorks (eCW).

Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician

Our client is a Community Team providing primary, medical, and dental care to underserved communities in Indiana. Their physicians care for patients of all ages and play an active role in shaping how care is delivered across the organization.

About the Role

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide continuity and acute care to a diverse patient panel, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of medical and dental providers and support staff, and you'll have a real voice in clinical practice.

Physicians here help develop practice guidelines and health maintenance schedules, mentor NPs and PAs, and lead quality improvement work. Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Choice of a 4-day or 5-day workweek
• Shared community call with other local providers, as appropriate

What You'll Do

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starting at $240,000 and going up with years of experience
• 2.5% guaranteed annual increase
• $20,000 annual retention bonus
• Up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement (if needed)
• 5 days and $5,000 for CME every year
