As part of the Wake Forest Health Network, a physician-led, non-faculty multispecialty group practice affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, you’ll have the opportunity to practice medicine at the highest standard while enjoying the support of a collaborative and innovative healthcare system. What You’ll Do:

Physicians work to care for patients in a variety of ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. Common responsibilities include diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses, performing physical exams, taking medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no inpatient responsibilities and limited shared on-call coverage.
• Patient Population: Diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, in a supportive outpatient setting.

Physician Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
• Successful completion of Family Medicine Residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for prescription writing required.
