Practice Specifics

The Essentia Primary Care Physician leads a Care Team working collaboratively with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, LPNs, and ancillary staff to make a difference for every patient. Using Essentia Care Processes, physicians aim to improve the overall health of patients by providing acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare to our communities.

• Essentia Health Family Medicine has six facilities in the Fargo and Moorhead area, offering multiple practice development opportunities.
• Full-time involves 32-36 patient contact hours weekly, with an average of 16-20 patients seen per day.
• Includes a rotating after-hours call schedule.
• Physicians interested in OB practice and/or office procedures are welcome.
• Access to numerous Medical/Surgical specialties within the Essentia Health network.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Family Medicine

Location

• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota
• Approximately 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Fargo-Moorhead population: 250,000
• Regional service area includes 30 clinics and 5 hospitals

Compensation

• $293,000 annually. Hired candidates may be eligible for additional bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based pay.
