This is a Direct Hire Solicitation at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, near Tacoma. Madigan AMC is a Level Two trauma center within the U.S. Medical Command. Tacoma offers a vibrant city life with outdoor attractions, cultural venues, and excellent schools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Family Physician at Madigan Army Medical Center, examining active duty personnel, family members, and other beneficiaries, providing care or referrals as needed. Procedures may include vasectomy, fracture reduction, lumbar puncture, emergency deliveries, and others.
• Review physical requirements and conduct physical examinations for military and civilian personnel.
• Supervise medical students, residents, and other healthcare providers, ensuring documentation complies with Army regulations.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens.

Basic Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, valid unrestricted medical license, and at least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree.

Additional Requirements: Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine with at least 4 years of experience/training in the specialty. Salary will be determined after acceptance, based on position specifics.
