Overview

Emory Healthcare, Division of Digestive Diseases, is seeking gastroenterologists to join our growing practice at Emory Spivey Station. Located in the Southern Crescent Region of Atlanta, Emory at Spivey Station offers state-of-the-art facilities at the Emory Spivey Station Ambulatory Surgery Center, situated in the quaint suburb of Jonesboro, just 15 miles south of downtown Atlanta.

Job Description

The Physician will attend to the medical needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing. Responsibilities include performing patient care activities, participating in on-call duties, and engaging in meetings and committees. The Physician will practice medicine in accordance with current national patient safety goals.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
  2. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia.
  3. Board Eligible or Board Certified (preferred).
  4. Valid DEA certificate without restrictions.
  5. Experience in outpatient medical practice (preferred).
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  7. Computer literacy.
