Physician / Endocrinology / Alabama / Permanent / Practice Endocrinology on the Gulf Coast Job

The Department of Internal Medicine at this prestigious medical school is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Endocrinologist. Applicants with credentials supporting the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor will be considered. The Division of Endocrinology specializes in the care of patients with endocrine system diseases and disorders. Our current team includes four endocrinologists and one advanced practice provider, and our efforts are recognized by the ADA Education Recognition Program.

We seek applicants with an understanding of medical, educational, clinical, and administrative issues relevant to internal medicine residents and medical students (1st-4th year) at a small medical school. Responsibilities include inpatient endocrine care management (independently and with residents), outpatient clinical activities, and potentially assisting with inpatient general internal medicine teaching services. Successful candidates will contribute to residency programs and quality improvement initiatives, with opportunities for career advancement through academic promotions.
