Staffing for the emergency departments at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, Westgate Hospital in Glendale, Arizona, and two Free Standing Emergency Departments in the Phoenix metro area follows different shift patterns and coverage.

Facility Details

• St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona: Full-time staffing, 8-10 hour shifts on average, APC (Advanced Practice Clinician) coverage, double coverage for shifts.
• Westgate Hospital, Glendale, Arizona: Full-time staffing, 8-10 hour shifts on average, APC coverage.
• Two Free Standing Emergency Departments (Phoenix metro area): Full-time staffing, 12-hour shifts on average, scribe coverage available for all shifts.

St. Joseph's Hospital, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is part of Dignity Health and offers comprehensive emergency and trauma services. Westgate Hospital is another Dignity Health facility situated in Glendale, Arizona. The Free Standing Emergency Departments operate 24/7, providing emergency care close to the community.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate health conditions and address patient needs effectively.
2. Supervise patient care and treatment.
3. Monitor patients' progress and maintain accurate records of treatment, procedures, and medical events.
4. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, and communicate the results to patients.
5. Oversee the course of care for patients in the emergency department, including APCs.
6. Perform routine medical procedures.
7. Foster a climate of trust and compassion for patients.
8. Collaborate efficiently with the Emergency Medicine team members, medical students, residents, and various specialties.

Minimum Qualifications
