Job description

UPMC North Central has an opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician in the greater Williamsport, PA region. This full-time employed position requires 1600 hours annually and includes a comprehensive UPMC benefits package, including medical/dental, retirement with matching, and tuition assistance.

Opportunity to support a Level 2 trauma center Emergency Department, as well as three other community EDs in the region. The department has 38 beds, including trauma bays and a secure behavioral health wing, and handles approximately 45,000 annual ED visits. It is a Level II Trauma Center at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

The position involves no response for floor codes, with a mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts. There is no Fast Track. The facility offers 24-hour Interventional Cardiology, CT, MRI, and Anesthesia services. The compensation includes a strong base salary with no productivity requirements.
