Description:We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician.This position requires a valid Florida medical license.The need arises due to a recent vacancy and increased patient volumes.The facility has not had recruitment success for the past four months.Candidates should be comfortable with a patient volume of 1.8-2.0 patients per hour.There are no pediatric patients in this unit.The staffing model includes 3-4 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.Support staff will be available as typically found in emergency departments.Expectations include coverage for both AM and PM shifts.The admission rate for patients is approximately 26-30%.Candidates should be familiar with emergency medicine practices and protocols.
