Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking two Emergency Medicine physicians for locum tenens coverage in Florida. Start date ASAP with day and night shifts, including weekends, and the ability to work at affiliated locations. Annual patient volume is high, requiring EM experience and current PALS/ACLS certifications.

Physicians must hold an active Florida license and a DEA registration. AMN provides malpractice insurance arrangements and supports travel, lodging, and related needs for contracted providers.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience.
• PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active Florida medical license and DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage.
• Work 7a–7p and 7p–7a shifts, including weekends.
• Open to coverage at other affiliated locations as needed.

This facility is seeking two Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: 19,000
• Physician shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, plus weekends; must be willing to work at other affiliated locations
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
• Certifications required: Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Licenses required: Must have an active Florida license, Drug Enforcement Administration license
