Position Summary:

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Chesterfield and Des Peres Emergency Departments. The ideal candidate will be proficientin the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced team-orientedenvironment.

Annual volume ~34,0000 patients/year at Chesterfield, ~9,000 patients year at Des Peres

55 hours of physician coverage daily at Chesterfield, 24 hours of physician coverage daily at Des Peres

Strong consultant support

TCD Level 1 STEMI

TCD Level 2 Stroke

No trauma accreditation

Lowvolumes of behavioral health, no inpatient psychiatry services

Infrequent boarding of inpatient admissions in the Emergency Department

Dedicated nocturnists at both facilities minimizes night shift burden.

Education:MD/DO

Licensure/Certification:BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
