UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a dynamic cardiac electrophysiologist to join our comprehensive EP team across Hinsdale, La Grange and Bolingbrook hospitals. The position combines general cardiology with complex EP and calls rotation with fellow physicians.

Highlights include pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT and VT/PVC ablations, and participation in hospital rounds, consults and clinic. Competitive annual salary of $700,000–$850,000, with broad inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Electrophysiology.
• MD or DO degree required.

Responsibilities

• Practice full spectrum electrophysiology including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT ablation, a fib ablations and VT/PVC ablation.
• EP Physicians participate in General Cardiology call rotation.
• Hospital Rounding, Consults/Admissions, OP Clinic and procedures.
• Hospital coverage across Hinsdale, La Grange and Bolingbrook.

Overview

Responsibilities

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Cardiology is looking for a dynamic and energetic cardiac electrophysiologist to join our comprehensive team. This physician will help continue to grow our Electrophysiology team in association with our specialists in interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiology and CT surgeons. Responsibilities will include general cardiology along with EP. The new physician would also share call coverage in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians

Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. Formal fellowship in Electrophysiology also required. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
