Overview

OSF’s Cardiovascular Institute is looking to add an Electrophysiologist to their established team that offers the full gamut of EP services in Peoria, Illinois

The cardiovascular service line consists of 16 hospitals throughout IL and MI, over 55 Cardiologists and surgeons and a 2M catchment area

OSF Medical Center is a 650 bed, high volume institution and we currently have waiting periods of several months for an atrial fibrillation ablation

We are group of 4 senior electrophysiologists and 4 mid-level providers who work very closely with one another as the dominant EP group in the region

Dedicated EP lab time is 2.5 days a week per physician

Experienced EP staff are familiar with performing all devices: Watchman, complex ablations, epicardial VT ablation and Impella devices

Teaching opportunities are available with our University of Illinois cardiovascular fellowship

EP call one week at a time, rotating once every 4 weeks

EP’s assist with general call about one weeknight a month and 8 weekends a year

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
