Ochsner Health in New Orleans is searching for an experienced Transplant Pulmonologist to join our lung transplant program. Interested candidates must be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and have at least 5 years of experience in all aspects of medical management of lung transplant patients, including participation in patient management and selection prior to transplantation, as well as peri- and post-transplant care.
The Ochsner Multi-Organ Transplant Center is the Gulf South’s leading center, performing more transplants per year than any other facility in the region. Ochsner is the only lung transplant program in Louisiana and remains one of the nation's most active lung transplant programs, averaging 27 transplants per year over the last three years. Since opening in 1991, it has performed more than 300 lung transplants.
