Qualifications

• MD or DO credential with Nevada license.
• 1 year or less experience as MD; residency completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care including exams, evaluations, diagnoses and treatment.
• Take histories and maintain medical records.
• Counsel patients on medical or psychological issues.
• Prescribe medicines and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Coordinate with care teams and specialists.
• Supervise physician assistants/nurse practitioners as needed.
• Follow departmental policies and quality/safety standards.
• Participate in health promotion and prevention programs.
• Maintain professional affiliations and stay current in field.
• Cover after hours calls as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
