Job description

Mercy Pediatrics is seeking a board certifiedNeurodevelopmental or Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician; Child Neurologist; Child Psychiatrist; or General Pediatrician to join Mercy Kid's Autism Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Our Mercy Pediatrics team consists of 3 physicians, 1 advanced practitioner and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have training and experience in the diagnosis and/or continuing care of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum and co-occurring conditions, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, learning disorders, and sleeping/feeding difficulties among others.

Mercy Kid's Autism Center:

  • The Mercy Kids Autism Center evaluated 850 new patients last year and is integrated within a long-standing Child Development Center (founded in 1985) that has interdisciplinaryand multidisciplinary staffing for evaluation and treatment of a wide range of neurodevelopmental issues.
  • The interdisciplinary staff includes 3 MDs and 3 PhDs and 70 other professionals working in 20 separate diagnostic and treatment programs at 4 sites
  • Last year, we saw approximately 30,000 patient visits across all our programs of which about 25-30% are related directly to care of children with autism.
  • The Center is presently engaged in planning and design of a new 40,000+ SF facility in West St. Louis County which will open in early 2025 and serve as the hub for a network of satellite treatment locations in the greater St. Louis region.

This Position includes:

  • Exclusive outpatient, clinical duties Monday - Friday with no call or weekend responsibilities
