Job description

Summary

The Mohs surgeon provides medical and surgical treatment of cutaneous malignancies, coordinating patient care with other medical specialties. This role serves patients in Ohio and potentially other regions. The surgeon also supervises dermatology residents and may assist with general dermatology clinic care if caseloads are low.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet basic and any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Pending training or license completion may be considered tentatively. Current VA-employed physicians meeting previous standards are deemed qualified.

  • U.S. Citizenship required; non-citizens only if recruitment of citizens is not feasible
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school
  • Full, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
  • Completed residency in an accredited program leading to board eligibility
  • Proficiency in English
  • Preferred: Completion of ACGME Fellowship in Mohs Surgery
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule

10-hour shifts from 7AM to 5:30PM, with some flexibility.
