Schedule: Monday-Friday, days.
Appointment length is 15-20 minutes.Time blocked for lunch.In-clinic and virtual visits are available.No holidays or call coverage required.Equipment includes DAX AI, a health phone, webcam and headset, DermLite, and Hyfrecators.
Required skills include:Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages with various skin disorders.Managing skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseases.Managing cosmetic skin disorders such as hair loss, scars, and skin changes associated with aging.Performing diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, moles, and other skin tumors.Interpreting specially prepared tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions.Conducting simple excision and repair, skin and nail biopsy, dermatologic surgery, electrosurgery, and cryosurgery.
Surgeries and procedures include:Management of contact dermatitis and skin disorders.No Mohs surgery or cosmetic surgery required.Patient encounters per shift are approximately 24-32.
Preferred skills include:Sclerotherapy, tissue augmentation, Botox, cutaneous lesion injection with chemotherapy, and laser skin therapy.Experience with non-surgical phototherapy, ultraviolet light, and patch testing.Surgical biopsy and excision are required.Cryosurgery and electrodesiccation are also required.Experience with dermabrasion and vein surgery is preferred.Mohs micrographic surgery is not required.Preferred skills in skin flaps and grafts are a plus.
