Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute is seeking to hire a Dermatologist to join our practice at City of Hope in Duarte, CA. We are looking for research- and mission-minded physicians, as every discovery and new treatment we develop gives people the chance to live longer, better, and more fully.

Position Highlights

The Department of Surgery, Division of Dermatology, is seeking a dynamic, highly-qualified, board-certified or eligible Dermatologist to meet the needs of our growing program in Southern California. Our division provides excellence in general dermatology, cutaneous oncology, cutaneous lymphoma, and onco-dermatology care. City of Hope is a top 5 comprehensive cancer center in the US, conducting over 800 bone marrow transplants annually.

The Dermatologist will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world-class, nationally recognized multidisciplinary team of specialists. This is a full-time position reporting to the Division Chief of Dermatology.

Position Details:

1. Clinical site in Duarte, CA
2. Established and expanding referral base in dermatology in the region
3. Collaborative team environment with APP support
4. Opportunities for program growth in areas such as graft versus host disease, cutaneous lymphoma, advanced skin cancers, adverse reactions to cancer treatments, and primary care dermatology for cancer survivors. Research opportunities in basic science, translational research, and health outcomes are also available.
5. Provide patient-centered care within an established multidisciplinary team at a state-of-the-art outpatient facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed residency in Dermatology and board eligible/certified by the American Board of Dermatology
• Academic record suitable for appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Professor level at City of Hope
• Must be eligible for or hold an active California medical license
• MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree
