Job summary

Description:The site is looking to add additional providers to their pool for ongoing needs.This position involves daily in-house call with a response time of within 25 minutes.Physicians are required to provide supporting documentation for call back hours on their timesheet entries.Physicians must detail the specific reason for call back incidents to facilitate audit validation.Standard pulmonary unit consultations and in-house calls are expected.Patient encounters per shift range from 5 to 8.The facility has 16 beds in the department.Physicians are expected to perform various pulmonary procedures including pulmonary function testing, ventilation management, invasive and non-invasive techniques, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and bronchoscopy.This role does not require trauma, burn, or specific surgical skills.The facility's trauma level is 0, and the pediatric level is 2.
