Job description

Seeking BE/BC Neurocritical Care Physician to join a talented team in Hartford, CT.

• Join an 800+ bed hospital with dedicated Neurosurgery ORs, neuroscience units, and a Neuroscience ICU.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team of neurocritical care specialists, advanced practitioners, certified neurocritical care nurses, and neuroscience residents in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.
• Our program includes a 23-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, a nine-bed Neuro Step Down Unit, and an 18-bed Neuroscience patient-care floor.
• We are proud to have a follow-up Neurorecovery Clinic as part of our Neurocritical Care program.
• We perform approximately 1,750 neurosurgeries annually, and our LIFE STAR air ambulance system transports patients within a 150-mile radius.
• Our full Neurovascular Department manages patients with strokes and aneurysms using both endovascular and intracranial surgery.
• The hospital is a Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Stroke Gold Plus award winner, and has a Level I trauma center designation. It also holds a Leapfrog A - Honor Roll rating.
