Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center in Armonk, New York, invites a physician to provide professional services, including assessment, treatment, and care management, ensuring continuity of care in line with Joint Commission standards.

The physician will collaborate with hospital administrators on budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning, and marketing, assist with staff selection and evaluation, and participate in recruitment efforts as needed.

Responsibilities

• 1.Can provide professional services to the Hospital’s patient population, including assessment, treatment and management of care, ensuring continuity of care for patients assigned to Physician.
• 2.Work with Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Location’s budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing.
• 3.Assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Practice Location’s staff.
• 4.Assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital.
• 5.Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital.
• 6.Participate in teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time.
• 7.Participate in after hours and on call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs.
• 8.Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the Hospital from time to time.

The Physician will:

1.Provide professional services to the Hospital’s patient population (including but not limited to assessment, treatment and management of care) and assure continuity of care for those patients assigned to Physician. The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities (including, without limitation, The Joint Commission).

2.As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Location’s budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing.

3.As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Practice Location’s staff.

4.As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital.

5.Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital.

6.Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time.
