Job summary

Capital Health Medical Group in central New Jersey seeks a Colorectal Surgeon to join our dedicated team. The role includes outpatient and inpatient responsibilities across our hospitals in Trenton and Pennington, with options for off-campus site coverage in Newtown, PA.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Board eligible or certified in general surgery.
• Board eligible or certified in colorectal surgery.
• Colorectal surgery fellowship completed (ACGME accredited).
• Ability to obtain license to practice in NJ and PA with prescriptive privileges.

Responsibilities

• Colorectal surgeon performs general colorectal surgery including outpatient and inpatient care.
• Provide care in main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and clinic.
• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities with collaboration across teams.
• General surgery call 1:6 with goal of transitioning to colorectal surgery call 1:3.

• Opportunity to hold office hours in off-campus sites in Newtown, PA or Bordentown, NJ
• General Surgery call 1:6 with ultimate goal of transitioning to Colorectal Surgery call 1:3
• General Colorectal, with time in the Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours

Qualifications

• Completion of Colorectal Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited) by the time of start of job
• Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the states of NJ and PA with prescriptive privileges
