This role involves coding surgical procedures for the Pediatric team, focusing on multiple specialties including Surgical. Production expectations vary based on the type of coding: straight E/M, Procedures, or a minimum of 9 encounters per hour.
This position is available in specific states across the U.S. and offers flexible hours between 7 am – 7 pm, with a requirement of 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.

This role involves complex professional coding for physician practices, evaluating medical records, and ensuring accurate code assignment according to national guidelines. It includes supporting department projects, training staff, and leading discussions on coding practices.
High school diploma or GED, formal training or Associate's degree in a related healthcare field, plus certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT). At least 5 years of specialized coding experience, with strong knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles. Ability to work autonomously, with excellent critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail. Must be able to work remotely using standard office and coding software.
