Position Summary: This role involves developing educational materials, conducting training for Health Information Management staff and physicians, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. The educator will assess training needs, coordinate orientation programs, develop educational content, support trainees onsite, and collaborate on system-wide educational initiatives. The position requires maintaining current knowledge of health information management systems and regulations, and providing expert training and support across departments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field, plus advanced training in Health Information Management and adult learning principles. Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P is required, along with 3+ years of healthcare information management experience. Must have excellent communication, instructional skills, and proficiency with healthcare IT software.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching/training experience, knowledge of adult learning principles, and customer service background are preferred.
