Overview

Join Concentra as an Urgent Care Medical Director in Los Angeles, a vibrant city full of opportunities. The position offers a competitive bonus potential up to $75K, a supportive work environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Location: Center located in the heart of Hacienda Heights Woodside Village neighborhood.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, leading by example and creating an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive clinical outcomes.
• Monitor clinical metrics to ensure quality outcomes.
• Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance and fostering teamwork.
• Utilize clinical systems effectively for documentation, coding, and charge capture.
• Ensure compliance with state practice acts and regulations.
• Communicate with employers regarding injuries and clinical updates.
• Participate in leadership meetings to improve quality and safety.
• Maintain relationships with clients and payers, responding promptly to requests.
• Lead staffing, promote company values, and develop staff.
• Contribute to financial management and center initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials

• Graduate of an accredited medical program
• Board certification preferred
• Active and unrestricted California medical license
• DEA license required before start date
• FMCSA NRCME certification required before start date (training provided if needed)

Experience & Skills

• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or related fields preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements and clinical operations
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
