Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Physician Clinic Medical Director in Amarillo, TX. This full-time role blends clinical patient care with leadership to drive high-quality outcomes and center performance.

The Medical Director will lead the medical model, supervise clinicians and staff, and partner with the Center Leadership Team to advance quality of care and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license required.
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for jurisdiction required.
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in ABMS/AOA recognized specialty preferred.
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and lead by example to ensure outstanding patient experience.
• Lead healthcare management initiatives to ensure day-to-day operation of the medical model.
• Supervise clinicians and support staff; ensure APC supervisory requirements are met.
• Foster professional, collaborative work environment among clinic staff.
• Work with leadership to drive continuous clinic improvements and budget alignment.
• Maintain relationships with center clients and payers; support business growth.
• Oversee staffing levels for clinical and support teams, ensuring coverage.
• Promote Concentra values and professional standards across the clinic.
• Contribute to training and mentorship for residents and students.

Responsibilities

• This clinic-based position provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
• Provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
• Manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements
• Creates a professional and collaborative working environment
• Works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement
