Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a hospital-employed cardiac surgery position with an established program. The team includes 3 experienced cardiac surgeons and 3 APPs, with a 1:5 call schedule to maintain work-life balance.

The role focuses on bread-and-butter cardiac procedures such as bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, and dissections. Minimal thoracic cases, with ECMO and LVAD experience valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years post-fellowship clinical experience required.
• Board-certified cardiovascular surgeons encouraged to apply.
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Minimally invasive and robotic experience a plus; ECMO and LVAD experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Practice is primarily cardiac surgery with minimal thoracic cases.
• Join a team of 3 experienced cardiac surgeons with 3 APPs on staff.
• Call schedule of 1:5 for excellent work-life balance.
