Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locums physician to provide 24-hour call coverage with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month in Indiana. The role includes inpatient and outpatient rounding, performing CVT procedures, and managing multiple high-acuity cases across a busy schedule.

You will conduct ~20 phone consults per 24-hour period and handle complex surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD, and pacemaker placements. Housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are provided with streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• 24-hour call with a minimum of 2 weeks per month.
• 10–15 patients seen per shift with ~10 admissions.
• Inpatient and outpatient rounding required.
• Average 20 phone consults per 24-hour period.
• CVT skillset including open and endoscopic procedures.
• CABG, valvular repair, TAVR, LVAD, and pacemaker placement required.
• Lung resection, chest wall, esophagus, and diaphragm procedures required.
• Congenital defect repair—ASD, VSD, PFO experience.
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly.
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and provide comprehensive malpractice coverage.
• We simplify credentialing and privileging process.
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry.
