Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting for a hospital-employed cardiothoracic surgeon to join an experienced group in Texas.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with 1:3 call, multiple da Vinci Xi robotic systems, a hybrid heart room, and robust APP support, including endoscopic vein harvesting and first assist capabilities. The case mix includes CABG, TAVR, valve repair, and lung cases; strong heart-team and cardiology partnership facilitate complex care.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-employed position joining an experienced cardiothoracic surgery group
• Monday - Friday schedule with rotating 1:3 call
• Four OR days and one clinic day per week
• Cardiac and thoracic case mix including CABG, TAVR, valve repair, and lung cases
• Multiple da Vinci Xi robotic systems supporting a growing robotic lung biopsy program
• Three dedicated APPs with endoscopic vein harvesting and complete first assist capability
• Hybrid heart room with a dedicated heart team and strong in-house cardiology partnership
• H-1B visa candidates welcome; new graduates and experienced surgeons encouraged to apply
