Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team in Rogers, Arkansas, to recruit a surgeon for a group with two full-time CV surgeons and dedicated APPs. The center features two CVORs, a hybrid OR with robotics, and Arkansas' first robotic C-arm.

There is a 1:3 call schedule and strong support from cardiology and hospitalists. The facility offers a four-lab heart center, advanced imaging, Epic EMR, and teaching opportunities with an accredited medical school.

Responsibilities

• Join a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery group with 2 full-time surgeons and dedicated APPs
• Dedicated CVOR team with 2 CVOR rooms and 1 hybrid OR with robotics available
• da Vinci Robot on-site; Arkansas' first robotic C-arm available
• 1:3 call schedule with strong cardiology and hospitalist partnership support
• Comprehensive heart center with 4 cardiac catheterization labs and advanced imaging
• Epic EMR system-wide with DAX for clinical documentation
• Teaching opportunity with an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or board-eligible cardiovascular surgeons welcome; new graduates considered

Job description

You will enjoy practicing in Rogers, Arkansas, in Benton County. Rogers was named after C. W. Rogers, vice president and general manager of the Frisco Railroad. The Eureka Springs and North Arkansas Railway provides a ride through the hills of Ozark. The city has many amusement and theme parks and many churches, one can visit the Walmart Visitors Center. The city of Rogers hosts the Civil War Ozark Heritage Festival, Frisco Festival, and Pinnacle Hills Promenade Art Festival every year.
