Mercy Northwest Arkansas is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery practice in Rogers, AR. The role offers a robust academic environment with collaboration across cardiology and hospitalist services.

Join two FT Surgeons in a system recognized for care excellence, with dedicated CVOR/robotics capability and opportunities to participate in teaching with the Alice Walton School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Participation in teaching with medical students and residents.
• Collaborate with cardiology and hospitalist services.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care in Rogers, AR.
• Work with CVOR team and robotics platform.
• Contribute to teaching activities and clinical research.

Mercy Northwest Arkansas is currently seeking a full-time, board certified/board eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery practice in Rogers, AR. Join a thriving health care system recognized both locally and nationally for providing exceptional care while remaining on the forefront of the rapidly changing medical field. The Alice L Walton Foundation, Mercy, and Heartland Whole Health announced a 30-year affiliation agreement in a joint effort to expand access to health care, reduce costs and improve health outcomes in the Heartland, in addition planning and designing a 100-acre world class health care campus in Bentonville. Part of this effort includes a 10-year affiliation with Cleveland Clinic and Heartland Whole Health to collaborate and provide world-class cardiovascular expertise and create a Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. Mercy is also serving as the primary clinical affiliate and teaching site for the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. We are honored to say that Mercy Northwest Arkansas hospital was recently named one of the Top hospitals in America for 2026 by Forbes.

Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgery group consists of 2 FT Surgeons, and dedicated hospital based and clinic-based APP's

Dedicated CVOR team, 2 CVOR rooms and 1 hybrid OR with robotics available

Strong partnership with high quality cardiology and hospitalist services

Participate in teaching with the Alice Walton School of Medicine
